Alpine Publications has been a leading publisher of dog and horse books  for over 40 years. We specialize in dog training books, health and care of dogs and horses, and dog breed books, and horse training books. Our company is small and is made up of folks who have experience with either dogs or horses, of often both, and we enjoy that personal touch that we are able to offer our customers and authors. Visit our website at www.alpinepub.com and see all the great books we have to offer! For many years we were located in Loveland, Colorado, about fifty miles north of Denver. In 2006 we relocated to Crawford, Colorado, on the western slope between Glenwood Springs and Delta, or about 60 miles from Grand Junction. Although more remote, we enjoy the rural lifestyle of the western slope. We are also in the middle of the fruit and vegetable capital of our state, enjoying locally grown produce all summer long. Alpine Publications was founded by authors who became self publishers and then expanded to publishing books by others. We welcome first time authors and have published authors from South Africa, Canada, and Great Britain as well as all over the United States.  Our emphasis is on how-to books that help horse and dog owners succeed in a particular area of competition or with a specific breed, but we occasionally publish good stories about animals, books for children, or textbooks in animal sciences. Our books are  marketed to pet and saddlery stores, specialty businesses, and through all the normal book channels as well as direct to the consumer through our catalogs and websites. We love to hear from our readers, many of whom have referred our books by word of mouth over the past decades, so feel free to give us your input.
